Centrally located at 11 km from each of Koti, Mehdipatnam and LB Nagar, in green surroundings away from noise and pollution. The college is located adjacent to Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology in Bandlaguda after Chandrayangutta on the inner ring road. Take left turn opposite IOL petrol pump while coming from Chandrayangutta fly-over. If coming from the Shivrampalli police station side, take a right turn at Palle Cheruvu.
AAR Mahaveer Engineering College was started in 2010 by the Mahaveer Education Society. The Society, under the stewardship of Chairman Sri Sudarshan Reddy Garu and ably supported by Secretary Sri Surender Reddy Garu, has more than a decade of experience in managing the Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology, which has joined the elite list of highly sought-after institutions in the State. Having successfully transformed Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology into a centre of excellence with several undergraduate and post-graduate courses, the Management decided to establish a new engineering college. The establishment of AAR Mahaveer Engineering College during the Academic Year 2010-11 heralded a bold step toward youth Empowerment in the State Capital Hyderabad. The college is located within the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, well connected with APSRTC buses and metro rail service, and yet away from the noise and pollution of the metropolis. The college also runs its own buses from several points in the twin cities. The college is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) whose students have made their presence felt throughout the Globe through innovation and hard work.

The Mahaveer Educational Society has grown multifold over the years, offering several new courses and developing infrastructure with state-of-the-art laboratories.
The College offers five undergraduate courses in engineering ECE, EEE, CSE, CSE(AI&ML) and MECH, duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Jawaharlal Technological University, Hyderabad and the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education.

Students avail communication lab facilities to improve language skills.
The college has a fleet of 14 buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city and its neighbouring areas to the college and back home to enable students to be punctual at the college. The transport facility for the staff is free of cost.
TSRTC and local train Facilities are also available. The nearest MMTS railway station is Falaknuma, 2 km from the college.
