Delhi University launches ‘Competence Enhance Scheme’ for various UG and PG courses from 2023. Students of other institutes or Universities can study various courses at DU. Competence Enhance Scheme has got its approval in the Academic Council Meeting of the Delhi University on August 3, 2022. CES will provide an opportunity to the students admitted to other Universities, or institutes to study in max 2 courses or 8 credits in a semester without enrolling in any course of Delhi University. This provision will enhance their knowledge and understanding of any subject being taught at the varsity.
University of Delhi (DU), in its Centenary Year, is set to launch the Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) and implement the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) from 2022-23. The CES will be launched to fulfill the objectives of the NEP, in which mobility of the students by giving the opportunity to the students admitted to other Universities or Institutions to study one to two courses in a semester without enrolling in any course of DU.
In case students who fail to pass or complete the course will have to re-register course if they want to earn credits from the such course and obtain the relevant certificate.
